Topic: Hammerfall dsp multiface + Win7 64 bit + DRIVER

Hello I have RME Hammerfall dsp multiface sound card. I bought a new computer with Win7 64 (bit).

I tried installing the driver that I downloaded (this one) (Windows 2000/XP) although in using Win7.
and used these tutorials to install it:

and I'm not surprised it doesn't work. where can I find a suitable driver?

A few things come to mind, sometimes downloads get corrupted by the Antivirus, try downloading it again

2) make sure this card has x64 support and that there are x64 drivers( which I think it has)

3) try downloading  the "firmware update" update the firmware and try re-installing the drivers
4) make sure you  "disable" onboard sound in Bios

Lets try that for now

1- i re-downloaded it

2- i think that the problem is that it doesn't support x64 sad
well, does it?



3- I cant re-install nothing because I can't install anything sad
4- I know that there is no need of that due to previous experience.

Current drivers for the HDSP series are always here:

Firmware updates depend on whether you use the PCI or PCIe type host card.

Hello Im having a similar problem,

My issue is that ive just upgraded my pc to 64 bit from 32bit. im running a mk1 multiface and the old pci firewire card. i dont want to attempt the flash update as my pcmia card failed and i had to send it off,

im wondering is there a driver at all i can use on the 64bit machine without having to flash it and if its uneveiable i have to flash is it less risky on pci than pcimia as i really dont want to do it incase it fails.
