Topic: ADI-8 DS Converter

I have an ADI-8 DS that I purchased in 2011 as part of a high end DAW set-up. The unit was rarely used and still in perfect condition, and I am now setting up again with Macs.

Can I still use the ADI-8 DS as an interface for the mac?

Thanks for looking at this post

Re: ADI-8 DS Converter

The ADI-8 DS is not an audio interface. It is an AD/DA converter that runs without any computer.

Re: ADI-8 DS Converter

The ADI is not an interface, it's a standalone converter. You will need an audio card or interface with ADAT (or TDIF) ports to use it with the Mac.
