Hi all,

I've been having an intermittent issue with my UFX where it locks up and hangs.  TotalMix and whatever DAW I'm in freezes until I unplug the usb cable.  That unfreezes the applications, then I just plug it back in and all is well.  When the apps are frozen, it still passes audio.  I originally thought it was ProTools doing its usual randomness, but I've seen it in other applications and it freezes TotalMix too.  In ProTools, it usually happens when stopping a recording.  The program hangs and won't let me do anything until I unplug the UFX and I can then quick save the session.

My UFX is connected to my laptop on a usb 3.0 port which is my only option.  Are there any known issues with that?  It's an older 3.0 port, when they were first coming out.  The driver is Intel.

Anyone having a similar issue?
