Topic: New TouchOSC Templates for iPhone 5/ iPod Touch 5

2 new fader only based templates for iPhone 5, iPodTouch 5 (rotary free, tested with UCX).
Download

Single version is optimized to control TMFx from one iOS device with a lot of buttons and faders per page and a main control unit to avoid repeated page switching. Extender version is optimized for using as a set of several iOS devices without this main control unit on every page. Both templates can be combined with each other or further templates that already exist on iPhones, iPods and/or iPads.

In both templates there are additional hotspots for certain faders. Volume, FXSend, FXReturn can be switched to 0 dB or -oo dB, Pan can be toggled between L-R-Center, Width can be toggled between -1, 0 and 1.

iPad template versions could follow in the future…

There are some limitations caused by missing functions in TouchOSC and/or missing OSC arguments in TMFx. Channel pages (in single template) and Control Room pages combine controllers of different TMFx page separations (also see RME’s OscTableTotalMix_121020 ). Therefore it is not possible to sync all those settings bidirectional per page while TMFx is controlled by separate iOS devices or controllers. On "Control Room" page you find  special "Sync" buttons included to sync those separated settings manually.

Meanwhile I wonder why there is a page separation of OSC argument in TMFx at all, instead of combining all arguments on one page. The present separation only limits free combinations of different controllers that would be automatically synced?! Is there a technically reason for that? Are there other solutions? Let me know!

The following list is a wishlist of missing OSC arguments in TMFx that perhaps can be completed in the future (if possible at all)?!

That's an outdated document. The current one is here:
