Hi

you can download the excel from my blog artcile or click the direct links below.
The comparison sheet is in German but I think easy to understand.

In short, with the UCX you get more features and I think its worth the money if its in your budget.
If you should have problems with USB try Firewire and vice versa, sometimes the one or the other works better, depends on board / chipset. So with the UCX you have more options, the buy is more "sustainable".

What UCX offer on top over the UC:
- latest low latency converters, for numbers see handbooks
- preamp technology of mixtasy/UFX (but not the parallel converter design)
- FX chip on board (few wees ago there was a firmware upgrade to enhance quality of reverbs/delays)
- USB and Firewire 400
- You may connect the ARC (Advanced Remote Control)
- Supports AutoSet (automaticall trims down input gain to prevent distortion, can be enabled/disabled)
- Supports Class Compliant mode
- 6 standalone setups (to be transferred to the device via Totalmix), recallable from device
