Topic: Babyface Windows Driver Not Working After Windows 10 Update

The latest Windows 10 update caused some major issues on my computer including that Windows 10 no longer will work with the Babyface. To be clear, the ASIO driver is working but when I try to select Babyface as my default driver in Windows 10, it says:

Windows has detected that audio enhancements for the following devices are causing problems:

SPDIF/ADAT (1+2) (RME Babyface)

Would you like to disable Driver Enhancements for this device?

If you select "No" then no RME drivers are visible in the list. If you select "Yes" then it just does not show the message again and still no drivers are options in the list of available audio devices.

I am about to uninstall these updates for now. It also made Waves Plugins not work in Cubase so this was a miserable update.

Issues solved (temporarily) when I rolled the Windows 10 installation back to the previous one. Fortunately this is an option in Windows but not everyone knows about this. I will contact RME anyway, also Waves as it caused their plugins to not be recognized!
