Topic: Madiface Pro only 14 ch. MADI in 192k?

Hi there

When I set my Madiface Pro on 192k mode, the totalmix gives me only 14 MADI input channels. According to MADI standard, it should be 16 channels. How do I get my ch. 15/16?

If I switch to 96k, it shows 32 channels which is correct (also 64 channels on 44.1khz).

Thanks for any advice! Driver version is 0.9610 System is Win 7 64bit.

Device driver settings dialog ..

Set from 56 to 64 ...(number of total madi channels)

I tried that one already, but it doesn't help. I am in 64 channel mode and still only 14 show up in 192k.

The MF Pro can transfer 18 channels in Quad Speed mode to the computer, which is a USB limitation. As there are 4 channels analog 14 MADI channels are left. On the playback side all channels are available.

Thanks for the information! That's a bit unfortunate when I want to run 2 OctamicXTC in 192k. Is there any option (or might be in a driver update) to deactivate the 3/4 analog input, in order to make space for full MADI support? That would be much appreciated.

Another case where a flexible I/O input matrix would help indeed...
