Using the RME Babyface, I'm trying to record a digital piano live using the MIDI performance in my DAW (Reaper). I was at first using the extension cable (for the breakout cable) that came with the BF but when I recorded the piano, each MIDI note gave out a little but obvious buzz sound on the AN2 right channel of the BF.

Then, when I removed the extension cable and just used the breakout cable directly, the buzz seemed to disappear but now I'm noticing it's still there yet very faint.

I could maybe get away with recording the MIDI now but I wouldn't mind getting rid of the faint buzz completely. I'm wondering what's causing this? Could it be a buffer issue?
