Topic: Auto-activate TotalMix FX window

Hi,

I would find useful to automatically bring the TM FX window to front when changing the Main Out volume fader, for example. Just to add visual checking to my ears checking. One should enable or not this feature by a preference, of course.

If this feature already exists, then sorry, if proofs I don't read manuals enough (but so many :-).

If not, and if you think it's a good idea, please comment.

I think its a bad idea because this can be very disturbing.
If something like this would come, then it would need to be configurable.

IMHO a better alternative is this, the idea is from RME forum user potscubber.
I described this solution in my Blog a little bit more verbose in German and English.

I think its more straight forward to open TM FX by macro / configurable keys, which are easy to enter IF you need this
when changing the volume. This solution requires Windows .. you didnt mention your OS.

But if only enabled by a preference, you're not obliged to use it :-)

I will have a look at your solution and see what can be done alike on macOS.

FYI, on macOS, you use Automator for this. Happily, it's a System app, so it's free.
