Topic: Spdif input

The FF802 USB is connected to my DAW which is a Windows 10 PC. I am trying to add the spdif output from my Mac to the FF802. I connected the spdif to the ADAT2 input. Using Totalmix I can see the input for spdif on the AES channel and whatever is currently generating a signal on the respective channels.

The problem is, I can't get the DAW Main output work for both at the same time. The only way I can get spdif signal Main output is to click on Cue for AES or use the EXT Input. Once I do that, the DAW output goes away. If I turn off the Cue or EXT Input, the DAW output returns but no spdif.

How can I get them to work at the same time?

Re: Spdif input

I was able to get this working simply by routing the SPDIF (which is labeled AES) to the output channels (AN1/2). Totalmix is very flexible I have discovered...
