Topic: Fireface 400 with newest MacBookPro

I have my Fireface 400 since 10 years. Nothing in my setup is as rock solid and reliable as the RME. I just love it and would like to keep it as long as it works for me. I am planing to buy the newest MacBook Pro : https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-mac/macb … ep=config#
So this means USB C to Thunderbold - Thunderbold to Firewire...2 Adapters. I don´t like that idea, but will it work, thats what counts in the end.

My actual MacBook Pro Mid 2012 has an Firefire output, how nice))

3 years later I am still on my Macbook Mid 2012. But I want to get a new one which means USB-C and Fireface 400. How many use adapters successfully?

Re: Fireface 400 with newest MacBookPro

I have been using Fireface with my 2020 Macbook Pro without a hitch.  I recently purchased a Babyface FS, which I would like to use for gigs. I am wondering if installing the driver for Babyface will affect the performance of Fireface 400.  Is there anything that I should be aware of?  Thanks!

These drivers do not affect each other....
