Topic: New fireface 802 Can't set my buffer less than 1024

Intel core i5-4590 @3.30 GHz
16 GB Ram 64-bit windows 7 home premium service pack 1

I seem to get a tiny bit of distortion also.

I'm connected via usb.  I tried the firewire and got about the same results.

I'm coming from an MR816.  I purchased this so I could run at low latencies and use my amp plugins which I'm currently unable to use.

Any ideas or tips would be mighty helpful.

Try all USB ports, best use one where the device is alone on front of an USB controller.
Check your PC with LatencyMon.
You can also take USB3 ports.

Alternatively take into consideration to get a quality USB3 card, which is also useful for USB2 devices.

With UFX it did. Try and if it doesnt work, send back.

This chipset is recommended from RME for ufx+ there is a good chance that it works also for ufx II
