Topic: RME 800 crackling sound

Hi,

my RME 800 only produces a crackling sound on my speakers around ~~ 120 BPM and is not recognized on my Windows7 Ultimate 64bit machine anymore

is the device going to die or does anyone hagve a aolution for this problem?

Any help would be highly appreciated

Most probably the interal power supply is defective and needs to be replaced.

What else ? Simply look at the article description:

"Replacement power supply for: [...] RME Fireface 800 [...]"
