Topic: RME Hdsp (pci) and protools 12.5 on PC

HI!! I'm running protools 12.5 HD on a PC and all goes smoothly at 44.1 or 48 Khz.
If I try to create or open 88.2 or 96 khz projects protools crashes and says that can't initialize current audio card.....

I have an orion 32 connected with optical madi to RME.....

I can change sample frequency without problem when I'm only with Orion32 on usb but i've problems when it is connected to RME.

Anyone can help me??

thanks....

[SOLVED]

RME rules on FS!!! so, in protools, if you want to change FS you have to exit PT, go to RME control panel, change the FS and re-open PT.....yeah!!

So different can DAWs be.
In contrast to that in Cubase you change the sample rate in the project settings.
If you have opened the RME Driver Settings Window in parallel
you can see that the DAW controls / changes the sample rate.
