Topic: Drivers/total mix for Raydat HDSPe Hammerfall for window 10

Hello,
I am having trouble finding Drivers for Raydat HDSPe Hammerfall for window 10 64 bit. I used to have no problem finding and installing your drivers - but now it seems that total mix is a separate .exe file that I have to open every time and its not working. Any advice ? or a link to a simple setup package ?

Re: Drivers/total mix for Raydat HDSPe Hammerfall for window 10

I downloaded the drivers from the usual RME download location on webserver and installed them on Win7 SP1. No issues here.

Could you post me a link to the exact driver you downloaded ? Did it include total mix and if so does this start automatically with windows or does it have to be started manually ?

I installed this :

Check the HDSPe RayDAT in the Device Manager. Looks like it is not there at all, otherwise the driver 4.21 installation would have worked.

That's right its not in device manager
I managed to flash updatenit somehow. It showed up in the audio drivers for a while during my adjustments but wouldn't initialise. Since uninstalling and reinstalling drivers it doesn't show up at all. It's showtime tomorrow..... Any suggestions ?

Re: Drivers/total mix for Raydat HDSPe Hammerfall for window 10

I've managed to get it found in device manager and programs see it bit it still doesn't work. Another weird thing is that I can't change the sample rate (greyed out at 44.1) but audio programs are claiming its running at 33 kHz...

Congrats for finding a solution and reporting back to the forum.

Is it quite common to have driver issues with the Raydat and Windows 10 ? Im begining to think Im going crazy as so many people have had no problems with windows 10 - but I have had loads of problems with it across the board including several different things (Motu not just RME)  and Ive used Windows happily for years......

Re: Drivers/total mix for Raydat HDSPe Hammerfall for window 10

Certainly not a common issue. Perhaps Windows energy saving settings were affecting PCIe also. Or something of that kind, but there is no known/common issue otherwise.
