Topic: audio playing on 2 channels randomly

aloha..

usually i have my audio routed to my main channel (AN 1/2) but it also happens a lot that its routing to AN 3/4 for some spontaneous reason.
which then i have to press CUE on AN 3/4 channel to hear the audio and vice versa.
i have this issue playing music through my music player, youtube and online streaming.

for sure this is a settings issue (i hope), perhaps anybody knows how to solve this?

Re: audio playing on 2 channels randomly

No. What did you set as number of WDM devices and which ones in the UFX Settings dialog? And what is set as Playback default in the System's Audio panel?

If the issue is only related to TM FX - easy to check. Save the current routing as Snapshot, and also as Workspace. When the issue returns load said Snapshot and Workspace. If that fixes the error then the settings in TM FX have been changed. This can only happen if you have MIDI control active and something sends control commands around.

Re: audio playing on 2 channels randomly

Yes, these errors might be the same. With USB transmission seriously disturbed mixing and channel assignment can also fail.
