Topic: Compatible Coffee Lake mITX Motherboards?

Currently have the ASrock Fatal1ty Z370 mITX which is otherwise a great motherboard, but have had absolutely no success with RME products. Tried my HDSPe PCIe card and a USB Digiface, and was not happy with the results. Tried some extensive troubleshooting as well. This is coming from a Thinkpad T410 + HDSPe ExpressCard, which worked flawlessly.

I've gave in, and have decided to swap my motherboard.

Anybody having success with Coffee Lake mITX motherboards and their HDSPe systems? Please list which ones work well.

Constant dropouts at moderate load. Details are in a past post of mine.

After reading this comment from MC

You should perhaps take a more "normal" board. Regular size and maybe not ASRock.
For me they are still the cheaper version of Asus.

If you still want to have the option to use thunderbolt in the future for a recording interface,
there there is only 1 ASUS ATX board available:

Whether it works ? Should, no guarantee.
