Topic: Please show status indicators for EQ, Bass/Treble and Loudness

Please add status indicators (e.g. colored dots or symbols) to analyzer and dark volume screens to inform when EQ or Loudness is active and Bass/Treble is non-zero.

Right now, using the remote, the state can only be determined by pressing the corresponding programmed key and see if the displayed message shows ON or OFF. After that you have to press the key again to restore the original state if necessary. Not very useful.

EDIT: if space is an issue, there seems to be a lot of room on the „dark volume“ screen to show the selected EQ preset and Loudness status. The B/T levels are already there. I am aware that the status could be determined by navigating the menus but there is no easy way to show the status of these settings using the remote.

Why no response from RME?

We are aware of the missing indiation. But so far we did not find a solution that works for both Pro and DAC, and doesn't break the GUI design.

Re: Please show status indicators for EQ, Bass/Treble and Loudness

Why not do this:

On the dark volume screen next to "USB" have it written "USB / EQ / LS" depending on what is turned on.

On the analyzer screen have the letters "L" and "R" be displayed in a color other then white when a EQ is on (or if the EQ is on only on one channel have only one letter change color).
When the Bass boost is active have the corresponding (affected) Hz numbers on the x axis be in a different color, same for high freq. boost, booth for loudness.
That way you could also display "live" when loudness gets turned down once a certain volume setting is reached.
