Topic: Thunderbolt cable for MacBook Pro 2018 and RME Fireface UFX+

Hi.
I plan to buy a RME Fireface UFX+ for my new MacBook Pro 2018.

I'm not shure which cable and/or adapter I need to connect TB3-Port from MacBook or docking station Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Express Dock HD.

I assume that UFX+ thunderbolt port is TB2. The ports of MacBook/Belkin are TB3 ?

Handbook chapter 39.4 mentions this startech adapter: TBT3TBTADAP.

Has anyone tried one of these adapters? How reliable is it? I have an Asus addon TB card with both type-c and type-a connections.

The type-a looks similar to the ufx. Is it the same thing as TB2? Could I get just a cable or would I still need an adapter?
