Topic: Are output lines supposed to be ganged (Fireface UCX)

I am using balanced outputs on L1 and L2.  However, when I try to select output lines I get L1, L3, etc.  No L2.  If I change the level on L1, L2 changes by the same amount.  However, I would like to change L2 to be about 1-2db louder than L1.  The manual suggests this can be done.  Did I set something up wrong?  If so, how do I correct it.

Stereo mode. Change to Mono mode by pressing the encoder knob for a second (dot indication, see manual).

As I read the manual the dot indication refers to the input channels and changing levels on these does seem only to affect the input.  Pressing the encoder doesn't bring up L2.  I can't find anything specifically related to "mono mode" in the manual, but stereo is pretty much the same as two-channel mono.

I am using Firewire @ 192kHz on a Mac mini.  That may be a factor.

Right. Change the output channels in TotalMix FX to mono and the UCX will follow.
