I’m using RME BabyFace Pro and I’m thinking about ordering a new HP laptop that uses “USB 3.1 Gen 1 (Data transfer only)” connector (full specs https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c05682477). Does anyone know if it will be enough for babyface bus powered operation (no power adapter)? I tried to contact RME support but they couldn't confirm it, I thought that perhaps some users may have an experience with that?
