In the past we've used an iPad mini with lightning adapter to record through our UFX and it's been v reliable.  Has anyone tested the new iPad Pro and is the USB-C port as reliable for multi-channel audio?  Does iOS eliminate the glitches associated with the 2018 MBP and USB-C?

And does the 22-channel limit remain?

Also RME, is it possible to use MADI-based setups (e.g. MADIface Pro + XTC/Micstasy) in iOS and what are the limitations for remote controlling hardware using MIDI over MADI?
