Babyface-pro standalone.

Is someone here who can explain the following to me? How can I use the Bayface Pro stand alone? As a power supply, I have a 12V battery that has power for many hours. I want input 1/2 microphones to output 1/2 to an analog amplifier/ recorder. When I make the settings as in the manual, I get a much too low output signal. Also when I set the input to maximum gain (peaklevel red) and the output at maximum I stick to about minus 40 db. If I use the BF with the laptop, I have no problems at all. Someone who can make me wiser in this?

Where do you see these "-40 dB"? What kind of recorder is this?

Hi, thats an older tascam without digital in. Watching the levels on the BFp, as I have red in the input led the output has 2 greens.

You must have overlooked that you need to 'mix' inputs to outputs. That is an additional volume control - as described in the manual. The monitoring process is described one page earlier, page 92.
