Topic: installing UCX (usb) fails

hi,
first time I want to use my UCX with USB and it fails.
I install the drivers, I reboot with the UCX plugged, and nothing happens, always the red LED, no TM tray icon and under Device Manager, I can see two (!?!?) Fireface UCX with yellow sign >> no driver installed. If I ask Win to search for driver, it says no driver found.

Win 8 on a Lenovo
UCX firmware fut win 27 CC13

What error I made ??

Which driver file did you install? Is the UCX set for CC (Class compliant) firmware mode?

I'm stupid, I didn't remember that the UCX was in CC mode for my mobile rig... pfff... sad
Set CC to OFF and it's working fine.

I use it by FW most of the time, even for the mobile studio with an old PC, and let the CC mode for the Ipad, and this is very useful, I don't have to set anything between FW and CC.
But now I wanted to install it on a new PC without FW, I needed USB, and here, the problem is the CC setting. I need now to set ON/OFF each time I change between the PC and the Ipad...
Must print that in my mind smile
