Topic: MADIfaceXT - Trouble accessing mic input

I'm having trouble accessing the mic input on my MADIfaceXT in various DAW software with only 32 or 64 I/O. The mic input appears as Input 193 in Logic, but other software only goes up to 32/64. Is there an easy way to describe the routing in TotalMix so I can access the mic as one of those lower inputs?. I seem to remember some time ago reading about this, so thought there must be a way. I'm using Mac OSX Sierra, and primarily ProTools Ultimate 2018.12, when I'm not simply tracking via MADI.

The Loopback function of TotalMix FX is described in the manual. The manual even includes exactly this workaround in the section 15.4 Various Information.

After I did a full mixer reset, and then followed the manual, it worked!.
