Topic: Fireface UC issue with recording in DAW after upgrading to Mojave

Hello All,

I'm a new RME Fireface UC owner, I have been using it without any issue for the past two weeks but since I have upgraded my iMac to Mojave yesterday I'm having a strange issue.

Basically the interface works properly for everyday use (listen to music, watch videos...etc), when I play one of my synth plugged to one of the input I can hear it and also see it in TotalMix (cf screenshots) but when it comes Ableton or Reason, I get no signal whatsoever into the DAW, I can't record anything (Midi functions work without issues).

I have reset the TotalMix settings without noticeable change, maybe is there a way I can factory reset the unit?

Would you have any idea on how to solve this issue?

Thanks a lot in advance,

Bitten by the new security setting, again?

Check System preferences/Security & privacy to allow your DAW's access to the UFX.

Hello Hello,

Thanks A LOT for your help. Problem solved, Reason / Ableton were not allowed to access to the "Microphone"...everything seems solved for now.

Thanks a lot smile
