Topic: Black lines on the color display of ADI-2 pro

Hi everyone,
I bought an ADI-2 pro (without FS) several months ago.
The display started to show black vertical lines recently.
And it seems that this situation is going worse over time.

Is there any way to fix it?

I have the same problem with cyan color parts between black vertical lines
Did not check for warranty yet

I am under the impression that that is caused by a physical fault in the display.

Looks like a return to me as the fix would involve dismantling ADI PRO-2 and replacing the display.

Not really a fault by RME, but rather the fault of the company who manufactures the displays.

I agree with you.

Replacing the display by myself is an option as well.
I think maybe the display is an off-the-shelf component that is obtainable in aftermarket.
If I can get a spare screen,I think I can fix it myself.
But I did not find any spec of this screen, is there any information about it?

Not sure where you could source the part from. Here in the UK we would probably go through the dealer or the importer which is Synthax.

Synthax do provide parts for RME equipment but I’m not sure if the display is available yet.

However, I think that it would be OK to contact Synthax and ask.
