Topic: How to get to submenus?

Hi Folks, I'm new. I can't figure out how to navigate to different subpages. For example, I read on another thread: "In the I/O Menu, rotate Encoder 1 to scroll through the Various outputs that you wish to apply B/T adjustment to.  Line Output, Phones, IEM.    After selecting the proper output, Rotate Encoder 2 to choose your function, BT, PEQ, Loudness, etc."

If I press I/O, I can indeed rotate through the various outputs with Encoder 1. I go to Line Out, for example, and it says settings. If I turn Encoder 2, it turns Dual EQ on and off. I can't figure out how to get from settings to parametric eq, B/T, and loudness.

I've navigated some items on the DAC (e.g. set, saved, and retrieved, the EQ, from the EQ button, hurray!), but I seem to be stuck on how to get to submenus.

Thank you

Re: How to get to submenus?

Ok you seem to have navigated already inside of a submenu.
Push Encoder 1 several times so that your selection is on top of the menuepage.
Then you will see that the symbol "(2)" for Encoder will appear right beside the Submenue Title.
Then you can turn Encoder 2 to select a submenue of a particular output.

Re: How to get to submenus?

serenepdx,

Seems Ramses got you on the right track.  Good Job!

The Menus, etc can appear a bit intimidating to a new User, but trust that as you gain familiarity with your Device you will find the Menus, and the UI to be quite Logical, and increasingly intuitive to Navigate, and Use.

Enjoy your New RME!
