Topic: no signal in DAW

Hi,

I've been trying to get signal in my DAW (Logic / Fl Studio) to record audio and instruments via my Fireface UCX.
I have signal in Total Mix from Hardware Inputs and Hardware Outputs. I can hear the audio/instrument on my monitors but I have no signal in my DAW nor in Software Playback in Total Mix.


Mic 1/2 ''Hardware input'' (AN 5/6) = Signal
An 1/2 ''Software Playback''(An 5/6) = No Signal
AN 5/6 ''Hardware Outputs'' = Signal

Can anyone help? Does anyone know why I have no signal going to my DAW?

Are you on Windows ? Did you choose the proper driver in the DAW, the RME ASIO driver ?

Hi,

No I'm on iMacPro macOS Mojave v.10.14.5

I use Logic X Pro and Fl Studio. On both DAW I can't record audio/ instruments as I have no signal coming in to the DAW and no signal in Total Mix. It goes straight to the monitors.

PROBLEM SOLVED!!
Thanks to MusicNetwork AG Mr. Wolfgang Rohr from the RME support contact in my country!!!

My UCX was in CC mode and did not recognise the host. I had to turn CC mode off and download the driver and flash again!

Now it's working, I have signal going into my DAWs.
