Topic: Retrieve Old Prefs from Time Machine without full restore from TM

My old Mac died recently, and I got my FireFace 400 working on my new Mojave Laptop.

I did have TimeMachine for my old Mac, but usually with a new computer I like to restore files one by one manually as needed, rather than doing a full Time Machine restore --- I don't want all of the old crappy apps and documents that I never use anymore, etc.

So . . . .my question is, I want to restore the presets and preferences from my old FireFace (Totalmix) setup if possible.  Is there a hidden System or User folder where they are stored, that I can look for in my Time Machine and slip into place on my new machine?  Or is that wishful thinking?

Thanks,
Chris

Re: Retrieve Old Prefs from Time Machine without full restore from TM

For the current TM FX:

Mac Current User: user/Library/Application Support/RME TotalMix FX

Mac All Users: /Library/Application Support/RME TotalMix FX

If you really talk about the old TotalMix - there is no way to convert old mix settings to the newer TM FX format, only manually by screenshots of the matrix and mixer. The path was the usual one for Mac at those times, Library/Preferences/TotalMix or similar. Sorry, don't have the excact details anymore.
