Topic: RME ADI-8 QS: Not working at all!... the unit is faulty?

I recently bought the RME ADI-8 QS and I cannot make it work. Audio is not coming out of the unit.
In the section "Digital Input" my selection "ADAT" is flashing.

My setup is quite simple, ADAT In to my 9632 card, ADAT Out to my 9632 card. With the analog outputs 1 and 2 to my main monitors. I also try all analog outputs and nothing.

Here I leave a couples pictures of my setup to see if someone can tell if something wrong? Or is the ADI-8 QS that has some problem?

PS: I'm currently using my 6 years old ADI-2 without problems, with the same settings.

The QS does not understand SPDIF optical. Remove the checkmark at 'SPDIF Out - Optical'.

As far as I can see you have to deactivate the optical SPDIF functionality in the 9632 control panel (please refer to the manual). Only in this case the optical I/O of the 9632 works as ADAT interface, and this is what you need here.

BTW: These ADAT cable are ... HUGE!
