Topic: FF 400 sometimes Blue Screen.

Hello. Sorry for the bad English.

During the closing of the programs that used the sound of the game for example, or music (cubase) and stop the video in YouTube, or the browser is closed during audio playback, sometimes crashes blue screen. Tried on 2 different cards motherboard+CPU and memory. And with different cords and power on the power supply and bus system.

It all started with short freezes of the system, even on Windows 7, but eventually went blue screens. Tried all the driver series 3хх. Previous are not installed. Enable MMCSS for ASIO just tried. if FF400 is disabled - everything is fine.

FireFace 400 (HR: 1.71),  Windows 10 x64.
Texas Instruments TSB43AB23 1394A-2000 OHCI PHY/Link-Layer Controller.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760.
SSD(System): KINGSTON SVP100S2512G ATA Device (512Gb, SATA-II)
The other HDD disks for archives and sleep most of the time.

Config 1 (current):
Asus P8H61/USB3  (3 PCI, 2 PCI-E x1, 1 PCI-E x16, 2 DDR3 DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN), i3 2100, 8Gb (DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM).

Config 2:
ASUS Р7ххх, i5 650, 12Gb. (do not remember the details)

Help who than can please, and then I don't know what to do...

Hi,

I'm having the same problem/symptoms since a few months, and I can't figure out what's wrong.
It happens only when I stop audio (Youtube, DAW, audio player ...) and blue screens with a IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE stop code.   

I've tried everything I could think of:
- changing fireware cables
- switching from onboard VIA firewire to recommended external PCie TI chipset card
- removing my GPU card and using Intel HD graphics

This system has been running flawlessly under Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 8.1 for more than 5 years, I don't understand what's going on.
Can someone at RME please have a look at this or give us some advice ? Thanks !

Specs:
- Windows 10 x64, Intel i7 2600K, 16G RAM
- Asus P8Z68 motherboard
- Exsys EX-16415-L Firewire PCIe card with TI chipset (X02213B), using Texas Instruments 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller
- Fireface 400 with latest firmware and driver

Some time has passed. I decided to try again with Windows 10. The same thing - periodically blue screen ...

Try the "High Performance" Windows power profile instead of the default "Balanced" one.
