Topic: RME ADI8/DS different Versions ?

Hello, i do have and use multiple ADI8DS and have been wondering if there have been different Versions of this as i do have two visually different types, different in their frontplate design and construction.
Is this purely cosmetic?

The DS should be all identical internally.
