Topic: MADIFACE XT recovery after power loss - feature/driver request

Currently running the XT via external PCIe on a Mac Pro.   It's a tank and I love it.

However,   I have found,  that if the XT accidentally loses power,  there is no way for it to recover.   I have no choice but to shut everything down and restart the system for it to show up again.

Is this just an inherent issue being hardwired via PCIe?    Is there a driver and/or firmware update that could make it smarter,  so the interface is re-detected and just comes back online?

I recall when using the old HSPE multi or digiface there used to be a 'disconnect' option.. so the system wouldn't freakout.

E-PCIe has limited Plug&Play capabilities on desktops. It usually works ok on notebooks, as their BIOS is prepared for such a hot-plugging action.
