Topic: ADI-648 vs ADI-648 Mk II differences

What are the differences between the two generations of the ADI-648 ?

Putting together a simple MADI remote rig and want to know which would be better for the purpose.  Currently have a UFX and will eventually replace it with a UFX+ for the MADI I/O.
Older 648 units are less expensive on the used market but what is given up vs the new Mk II ones?

I had the firmware of my older 648 updated due to 56-64 channel Madi issues.
On the older firmware, if there was no optical adat input at channels 57-64, it automatically switched to 56ch MADI mode.

The newer version has an additional button on the front that allows to control the remote source.
