Hello this is my first time to the forum.

I'm running HP elitebook i7, 4 gig ram, FF800 and a Roland PC-160A.  The software i'm using is reaper and superior drummer (plugin and standalone).

The problem occurs as i play the midi keyboard, usually after 30 seconds more or less, the DAW will not register the notes i'm playing, instead plays and holds other notes.  This happens in both reaper and the superior standalone.

This problem doesnt occur when i use the virtual keyboard in reaper.  So it must be an FF midi issue.  I tried changing midi cables.  Still the same problem.

Last month i used this exact same set up with a mac pro and it all worked fine which cuts out the possibility that its hardware.

I've prnt scrned what happens.  You can see 3 notes near the end completely out of the range of notes i'm playing.

Has anyone else come across a similar problem?

Any help would be hugely appreciated xxx
