Topic: Expand AIO Adat inputs?

As the studio grows, so do the number of ADAT items.  I use AIO as my hub.  Would like to add more ADAT inputs.  It would be A DREAM if I could purchase a DIGIFACE USB and host all of these channels in tandem with my AIO...   all under the same Total Mix and same driver.  Being on Windows and using Cubase...   I can only use one ASIO driver at once.

What are possible solutions for me to expand the AIO?  I'm using the AIO with the addition Analog output expander....   so I'm looking to keep 8 analog outputs, need at least two analog inputs, one AES i/o, and three ADAT i/o.

Re: Expand AIO Adat inputs?

Also...    being that a majority of my work is sample sequencing,  I need to keep the PCIe format for the better latency stats. Unless I'm wrong...  it seems that USB or other bus type will never achieve the same latency performance as PCIe. No?

Re: Expand AIO Adat inputs?

Raydat will do this. Or if you have a PCI slot a second hand HDSP9652.
On the right system USB can be pretty good. But I am sure it is not a unified driver for usb and PCIe.
