Topic: Digital sound when trying to record -help

I recieved the BP a couple months ago. Yesterday I finally received my new Shure 7b so powered it up to record. I have a 2013 Mac with the latest version of Sierra

However, every time I try to record I get a loud digital sound similar to a modem instead of my voice. It is monitoring levels

I reinstalled drivers, tried different usb entrees, a different mic and cable and have been reading through manuals and reading online posts but have not found anyone with the same issue or found a solution.

Thanks!

Re: Digital sound when trying to record -help

The final trouble shoot was the program itself I was using. Turns out that it needed to get updated and now I'm rolling again! Psyched.
