Topic: Recording Madiface XTs Mic Inputs into Pro Tools

Hey,

seems to be a common problem, but I didn´t find a solution or clear statement to this question:

How can I get the Mic/Line Inputs of a RME MADIface XT into Pro Tools (in my case 12.7.1) ?!

Due to Avids 32 channel limitation with 3rd party stuff I can´t get the mic inputs into the DAW.
Analog In 1/2 are channel 193/194.
Total Mix doesn´t let me reroute the Input order.
Is there a workaround other than just not using PT?
I only want to record one single channel.

TotalMix let's you reroute the mic channels via Loopback, as described in the manual.
