Topic: System-wide hotkeys to control TotalMixFX?

Hello everyone,

I'm enjoying use of TotalMix on various RME interfaces, pretty much learned most of the functionality this marvellous piece of software utility offers, yet there is one thing I am missing:

is there a way to make "key commands" (Function keys) applicable regardless if TotalMixFX is an active application at foreground, meaning, if those hotkeys could be available syste-wide, regardless of whatever app is active and running in front?

A tool based solution exists for Windows, I can tell you later in the evening.

Please use the ARC USB for such (and much more) functionality.

and that is the "problem", I am planning to use ARC USB when I need "more" functionality of course,
BUT sometimes I would also need just a very basic functionality "on the go" where carrying relatively big controller is unconvenient while babyface (which has basic controls inbuilt) is too basic for IO
