Topic: No MIDI pan in Totalmix 1.43?

I remember that panning via standard MIDI was diffcult in former versions. Now I need this again but it does not seem to work in Totalmix 1.43. I just found some event that lets a pan knob jump to various positions, but neither reproducible nor controllable.

Is panning via MIDI really gone?

AFAIR panning has always been the respective Mackie control function.

Re: No MIDI pan in Totalmix 1.43?

Hm ... maybe I simulated a Mackie, I deleted those old projects a long time ago and sold my Mackie controller, so I cannot re-engineer it again.

But something has changed. After installing the Mackie/Logic control surface in Logic I can move Totalmix faders, but the balance knobs do not react. Not straight and not in flip modes, not from Logic to Totalmix and not vice versa.

And even it would work, so far I remember we could move the active faderbank to the upper left corner and explicitely go to the channels we needed. Looks as if this is no longer possible, because the bank up/down events don't stop at the top/bottom row, they wrap.

I am afraid, Totalmix is no longer usable for direct MIDI control. Got to think about another system.
Fireface 800 here, btw.
