Topic: more EQ bands?

maybe this is a duplicate but my search didn't bring a result.
I wonder if I am the only one who wishes to have more EQ bands?
My application is that my Fireface UCX is also doing the room EQ for my monitor speakers. If I had more than there parametric Eqs that would be very helpful. Anyone agrees?

There are no DSP resources to do more than what is done now.

I found on YouTube a demonstration of how to add more eqs in TotalMix. The trick is to connect a physical output on your UCX to  a physical input. Then you create your submix to this output using the 3 eq parameters as required. Now you have a new input on the top row (its the submix you just made!) and you can eq that at three points sending it to your monitors. Voila...you now have 6 available eq points for your mix. Never tried this myself, but it makes sense.
