Topic: RME 400 to iMac 2009 - please help

Hello,

I purchased an used RME 400 and I wonder what's the best way to wire it to my iMac.

My mac got a firewire 800 port so I was thinking about buying this

Yes that is FW800 to 400 and that will work. Doesn't the imac have a 400 port (In the past they had one)? If yes that will work exactly the same.

Yes I think some imac got the 400. Luckily on mine there's at least the FW800

I will buy this one then, thanks a lot really
