Topic: Fireface UFX II USB Dropout

Hi,

I have a brand new Fireface UFX II (1 months old) and I'm experiencing some dropout.
The Host light flashes quickly, the sample rate drops to 44 and goes back to what its set and the RME USB Setting window restarts.
It happens even outside of audio software, just when on the internet or whatever.

It appears to happen mainly when my Macbook is not 100% charged or charging.
Anyone has had the same issu? Any idea why this happens and how to solve it?

Why you not upgrade to High Sierra? Is the UFX II on the latest firmware version 16/10/6?

Hi!

Thanks for the answer. I didn't see it before today (woops)

I'm still having the same issue. I'm now under High Sierra, and have the latest firmware for the Fireface and TotalMix.
It appears to happen only when my computer is under a heavy cpu load and getting hot, or when the battery is charging.
Could it be a battery/power issue that causes some USB dropouts?
What do you guys think?
