Topic: IEM output suitable for RHA CL1 IEMs with 150 Ohm impedance?

Can the IEM output of the ADI-2 DAC drive those IEMs? Or do I have to use the 6.3mm output, risking to inadvertently blowing them up?

Would you advise against the RHA CL1?

Thanks

Edit: sensitivity 89db, max. input 50mW

Will I hear more noise if I use the 6.3mm output in low power mode?

89 dB? That is quite insensitive. Should be no problem on the big TRS, and - depending on how loud you hear - it could also work with the IEM output.

Thank you for your answer. How about the noise? Does the big TRS with low output have more noise than the IEM output? Is the noise hearable with such a low sensitivity? I need to know because I can only return the RHA if the package has not been opened.

The noise is not audible at 89 dB sensitivity, even in high power mode.
