Topic: Win 10 - Multiple HDSP drivers installed ?

Was doing some system maintenance and noticed I have three versions of the RME HDSP series driver installed:  4.1.6, 4.1.8, and 4.2.2.

As I had been doing upgrades, I was not uninstalling the previous before installing a new one obviously.

Now my question is does this possibly cause issues with my Reaper DAW opening or issues with Windows itself ?

Is there a recommended way to clean the drivers out when upgrading to new versions ?

Can I simply uninstall all of these in Windows, and then install 4.2.2 again ?

The former drivers have been overwritten on update, the older ones are not active. Most probably you talk about the uninstall entries left in the list of uninstall items. Simply ignore that.

Correct MC thank you.  I will ignore them.  Have been having Reaper crashes lately and while reviewing, saw these and figured I would ask.

When you uninstall a more recent driver then an older version becomes active again. If you want to get rid of them then uninstall all versions and then install the latest one.
