Topic: Will a RME HDSPe fill my needs

Im lookin for a card/setup to maximize my recording sessions, and Im thinking of an HDSPe.
Current setup running a analog console to RME ADI-8 DS connected with ADAT to DIGI 003
Pro tools 2018.4 running on a Mac pro 5.1 3.46 6-core 32 ram.

I want to be able to record with a lot of pluggins still activated. Example, 3-4 hours in a session and after a little mixing. I want to put down new drums with 128 samples but not take away/freezing the pluggins just keep the vibe and sound and record
Wich way is best/cost effective to go to be able to record? With lets say 10-20 pretty heavy pluggins (only simulations no virtual instruments)? budget 1000 euro
A new computer/CPU and keep digi 003?
Exchange digi 003 for a RME HDSPe?
Adding something to offload the CPU like waves Soundgrid interface connected via ethernet?
