Topic: Confused about di boxes

Hi

I have a multiface ii

I want to plug in 3 guitars

Electric
Bass
Electric/acoustic

I'm wondering what do boxes I would need for these?

Are the inputs on the multiface line level, so I would need to get a di box that outputs line level?

I need to get hiz inputs on the di too

The thing I find confusing is that all the do boxes seem to be outputting mic level.

Is there any recommendation for a cheap Di box or 3 to plug in my guitars?

I've been looking at the LD ones but again they're mic level?

Confused.

Would be grateful for any help.

DI boxes tend to be mic level, because that's the most common stage implementation.

Although this is where it gets confusing for me, because on this thread it says about the multiface:

The Line inputs can also be used as instrument inputs. Active instruments can be connected directly. Passive
e-guitars require an additional impedance buffer.

Does this mean that I can just get a normal di box (that goes from hiz to mic output) for the passive guitars and it will be enough for the multiface?

I plan on using some VST amp modelers so will use those to add gain.

I'm wondering will this be enough?
