Topic: Reoccurring crashes from FF800 when I power on juno106 with midi

Greetings all. My Fireface800/Win10 seems to crash around 80% of the time when I power on my juno106 (strictly with midi out connected to the midi in of FF800). I have not tried with any other synths/drum machines, but I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this sort of thing. Is this a form of hot plugging? The juno106 is powered through a step up converter from 100v to 120v and the "midi function" can be on any option and still crash. I have not experienced any crashes with midi disconnected, which leads me to believe this is a midi problem. Thank you for your time and help!

At start-up the Juno 106 sends messy MIDI messages with invalid content that make the FF800 crash - most probably. Take a different MIDI interface and record the MIDI data with any MIDI monitor (like Bome's Send SX), will be just a few bytes. Then send that info to us. We can check if this is fixable in the driver. If it's a firmware problem then there will be no fix, sorry.
