Is the ADI-2 DAC works connected to the SMS200 USB out?

That should work, but I doubt you'll find someone here that already tried it.

Its an online sales, you should be able to send it back if it does not work. Risk is very low to try it out.

I use microRendu as renderer and stream Qobuz to Audirvana Plus on a PC,
works fine even with DSD 128 to ADI 2 DAC, direct or not.
